From the Sky: A Reel of Remote Queensland

Over the past few years, I've had the extraordinary privilege of travelling to some of the most remote and breathtaking corners of Queensland - from the red dirt communities of the Cape York region to the shimmering waters of the Torres Strait Islands.

As part of my work, I've been fortunate enough to visit places that many Australians will never set foot in. Every trip is a reminder of just how vast, diverse, and staggeringly beautiful this state truly is. These aren't locations you stumble across - you earn them through long flights, small prop planes, and dirt roads that seem to stretch on forever.

Between visits, I've been quietly building a collection of drone footage - a mix of cinematic wide shots and fast-paced FPV flying - capturing these communities and landscapes from a perspective that does justice to their sheer scale and colour. The turquoise of the Torres Strait. The dense green canopy of the Gulf country. The way the light falls at golden hour over communities that feel genuinely connected to their Country.

I've finally pulled it all together into a single reel, and I'm so proud to share it. I hope it gives you even a small sense of the awe I feel every single time I arrive somewhere new out there.
